The life of the young music student takes an unexpected turn when she becomes convinced that her eccentric music teacher, Mr. Koehoorn, is an alien. Her attempts to convince others are ridiculed, and she is even declared crazy. Years go by, and then there's an unexpected knock on her door. Standing before her is a new student who claims to share the same belief about Mr. Koehoorn's extraterrestrial origins.
Together, they investigate various events recorded in their own diaries. They relive their memories through different scenes and discover strange sounds and even some unexplained occurrences that took place during school times. Can they prove that Mr. Koehoorn is an alien?
The film, directed by Jort Ploos van Amstel and inspired by the aesthetics of Wes Anderson, features a colorful palette of costumes and sets that enhance the surreal atmosphere of the story.
