My exam collection for the Junior Stylist course took place during the Covid-19 lockdown, requiring the examination to be conducted solely online. Alexander McQueen is a brand that has inspired me since the beginning of my design journey. It is bold, innovative, and particularly focused on the female silhouette. My mission is to infuse my personal style into a ready-to-wear collection for Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2021.
During my trend research, I foresee a modern reinterpretation of the Roaring Twenties. Once the influence of the coronavirus diminishes, and nightclubs reopen their doors, I anticipate a fresh approach to socializing. People will dress more boldly, taking cues from the Roaring Twenties era, which was marked by a celebration of life following the war.
